Re: Biting

I have one cat that has bitten from being a kitten. He is 18 months old now but like a dog he has learned to inhibit his bite. Only yesterday morning I was in bed and he had a bite and tug of my elbow, arm and hand.

He also has a fetish for trousers, and yes he bites visitors too. Fortunately he doesn't cause any damage now but he used to.

I used to stop him and make him stop by physically removing him and saying no very sharply, clapping my hands too works. It depends what he is biting.

It isn't a problem now after he bites he will lick, I get the impression my lad is just being a cheeky chappie seeing what he can get away with.
