I agree with Lionclub here regarding the feeding regime and yes it can get into a vicious circle.

Why don't you try and have a word with here regarding their welfare and say to her in a diplomatic way about your concerns regarding their shelter and their feeding. If things do not improve then most definatly speak to the RSPCA.

By the way, us "country folk" do not think of our cats as just vermin control and they are most definatly not just left to their own devices. Why, just because we live out in the sticks would we treat our cats any different to "townies".

My cats are loved and cared for very very well.
