dont give calcium whilst pregnant it can cause eclampsia,my little dog got it,i noticed straight away and gave her 2 indegestion tablets and then 2 600mg calcium tablets,also rang vet and bookd her in to see him,he said my quick actions saved her,if it is going to happen its usually around the pups being 2 weeks of age,it comes on pretty quick,my girl ate her breckie fine was bright and alert,an hour later she looked a bit glazed over and walked as if she had been at the whisky
id give calcium when shes had the pups,apparentley after doing a bit more research its more common in small breeds
