7 month old moggy - hits his head a lot!

Hi all,

New to the forum and I hope you can help!

I have a 7 month old moggy, Archie, and he's wonderful. A very character filled little boy. Neutered last month. He's now starting to eat more and sleep more, and he was getting quite aggressive but this has died down.

However, I have been getting worried that he keeps banging his head into things. I've had him checked at the vets so many times since first getting him and they've never mentioned a problem with his eyes. His whiskers are all there fully grown. He'll do things like: I'm making a cuppa in the kitchen (he tends to follow me around - house cat, can't go outside) and he'll start chasing his tail, he whizzes around until he hits something with his head. Then stops.

He watches me as if he's going to pounce (baby hunting games) in the morning and then if I say "Boo!" or whatever he'll turn to run away and just go slamming into the wall, then around it and out the door to the next room.

He comes straight back and never seems fussed but my lord it makes a loud bang.

Is this just all normal kitten's being over-excited type of behaviour?

Thanks for any advice! x
