No, just squatting all hunched up and looking as if she felt very rough. Just lost the other hen. Talked to a friend of mine who has about 30 hens and she said the same thing has been going through her flock over the summer - so may be something viral? Seems one hen gets it and dies, then you have a couple of weeks before another seems to get it. If it happens again I shall try the vet. May be just need some antibiotics to help fight the infection. Sorry you have same thing. Sadly, cant offer you any good advice either.
