hmm, think it depends on the cat, and breed. A house cat will get bored (a young kitten will)

I am definately going to get a friend for Alfie as I'm having to leave him on his own in the day and Ragdolls crave company. He hasn't shown signs of scratching furniture but is trying to claw the carpet.. oh and wee'd near the front door twice yesterday!

I've had to get my boyfriend to stay with him in the day to keep him company.. or he would just be bored out his mind!
