i hope he becomes a much-more manageable dog - well-behaved dogs have much larger and richer lives, they can go so many more places with us, and that adds joy and new experiences to our lives.

hiking with my dogs, they would invariably clue me into something that they saw, heard or smelled, that i would have missed --- another whole world opens up.
