It sounds like you are doing everything you can to keep him going, I jyst hope he is like my prem pups and switches on soon for you. You are very lucky that your bitch has taken him on as Chihuahua bitches can be very protective of thier pups, I know mine wouldn't have taken on another bitches pups, yet my pom girls would take on any puppy no matter what breed, when they have babies they are fantastic with thier pups and will share each others pups if they have them around the same time.
