Re: Help With My Border Collie
[I'm sure the OP did a lot of research on lines, and selected the very very best bitch to complement her prospective stud's lines. I'm sure she didn't just get a bitch willy-nilly.
I'm also sure that she plans to have all the relevant health checks, has read up extensively on breeding, and is prepared for everything that may go wrong. I'm sure she is prepared, in the worst case scenario, to lose all the puppies, and/or the dam.
I'm sure she realises that as the breeder she is responsible for the future puppies FOR LIFE, and will insist on the puppies coming back to her if for any reason their owners don't want them.
I'm sure the only reason she is breeding is to improve the breed.[/QUOTE]
QUOTE=Colliepoodle;1131472]Thank you for standing up for me, yes i have done extensive research and had the tests done no money is too much for my babies i love them with all my heart.. and yes i know all the risks and all the mess the pups can make.. we have both dogs inssured and chipped.. my partner even sits on the floor so the dogs can have the settee.. and i will make sure all the people interested in the pups are well vetted and check were they live and wether they have got the space and time to look after the pup... Im not going let her have a litter until she is at least 2yrs old so we have plenty of time to research more and prepare... i will even have the pups vaccinated, wormed and looked over by a vet before they leave us....im not a money maker and will not use my darling stella as a breeding machine.
