Repeat eye infections could mean the cat has the herpes virus. the supplement l-lysine controls out breaks of the herpes.

Often antibiotic seem to clear up the infection but it comes back. This is because the herpes outbreak goes into secondary infection. The antibiotic does not cure the herpes, only the secondary infection.

Testing for herpes is a simple inexpensive swab test.

In addition, if the cats have not been tested, they should be tested for FeLV/HIV.
