Animals are so more sensitive than we give them credit for.

I remember some years ago my Mom's next door neighbor died and at the same moment of death their dog give a horrendous howl which he keeped up, on and off for over an hour, then went to the top of the garden and would not go back in the house until they had taken his body away.
