Hi,

We adopted a cat just over a week ago. She is about 1 yr old and recently neutered. We were advised to keep her indoors for 3 weeks but she managed to escape this morning (she saw a neighbours cat at the catflap and ran into it so hard that the lock broke and she got out!) We ran after her down the road but she vanished over a fence we think. We have tried calling for her and shaking a treat box etc but have had no luck. She had just eaten breakfast too so probably won't be hungry for hours.

Do you think she will come back and are there any things we can do to encourage her to come home? I am really worried she won't know where her home is as she ran out of the house and down the road so fast.
