I don't have my kitten yet, but i want to plan everything ahead since i want my baby to be happy

I'm planning to go on hollidays in August, around then the kitten should be 5 and a half months....what should i do? what's best for him?

I could take him with me, we're going to my boyfriend's mum house in Portugal, but she's got a cat.....don't know if they would get on.

For a siamese, do they prefer to be with us or at home? I could get friend to visit him every day but i'm afraid he'll feel too lonely as we'll be away for 2 weeks

Is a cat hotel the best option? i think i would feel sick with worry!
