I can't remember... don't think he has always done it. Although, I've only had him for 3 weeks. His chest seems quite strained when he coughs - I've been advised that he may be allergic to something in the house? Or, attempting to cough up one whopper of a hairball
He is otherwise EXTREMELY happy and healthy!
