I thought Petplan were quite expensive... £3 more per month than Animal Friends! Also, they have a £70 excess fee!
the only one i know of is the one i took out and thats AXA PET, im paying just under £13 a month for £7000 of lifetime cover ( i get a new pot of £7000 every year and covers ongoing conditions for life) but i have no experience with them other than taking out the policy just over a week ago so cant comment on claims etc i know they will pay the vet direct if your vet will accept this and like i said my quote said a £75 pound excess but when the policy came it only said £50 so im not sure wether this was a mistake on their part, but im not going to question it and hopefully ill never need it! and i think id rather pay a higher lump sum excess than have the worry of a percentage which wouldnt really put my mind at rest as i couldnt afford a big bill, so i would worry, and i took insurance so that i wouldnt worry!
