Yes, they're hideous things and they get really filthy too when they're all smeared with cat food! I remember my old cat had an ear problem and they kept putting bigger and bigger collars on him till he could hardly move. He tried to barge through the catflap and just bounced off one time because of it. I'd try not to worry too much, she's very active so obviously recovering from the anaesthetic.
