Ill see what the vet says, if it a case of a simple operation that will fix the problem and then all back to normal, ill get it done i guess...but need to wait for the orthapedic(sp) specialist to have a look as diagnosed by a 'gp' type vet.

What supplements did you give yours 'bucksmum'?

Many thanks!
I gave her fish oils, glucosamine, msm, cider vineger(1 teaspoon in dinner).
Most of these i got through a Higher Nature,a health company,as my vet does an animal supplement range for them.
I think keeping her fit and slim and active played a big part in preventing arthritis getting too bad.

I have got a 3 year old terrier now that i rescued and he has the same thing in both back legs(the terrier hop) and he is coming out on the shoot running miles each day with no problems.
Mild luxating patella seems to be very common in terriers and i have known many live (and work) with it with no pain or problems.
