Kind methods for training a dog is a very recent thing.
Please don't get angry at people over 40 for their attitude, force was the recommended method back then.
Smile sweetly and tell them your way, hopefully this will make them feel guilty about all the things they have done to dogs over the years.
It should be their guilt though, not yours to dish out, because times have changed, it's not their fault
