Re: Having toilet troubles

Hi

Definately, Definately, take her to the vets as soon as possible, if nothing has changed in your household recently, it is almost certainly a Urinary Tract infection, which a short course of anibiotics can cure.

If you can, get a urine sample to take with you, not an easy task with a small dog. Use a clean plate and as she pees, pop it underneath her and catch what you can!!!! Put into a clean bottle or jar - you only need half an inch or so. The vet will think you are marvelous!

If this comes back clear, then you need to look at anything that has changed recently and then go back to basics again.

Please note, dogs that are asked to 'hold on' for long periods of time whilst their owners are out, may suffer re-occuring infections.

Hope all is OK with her.

Kate
