Re: Cat Insurance
I looked at petguard and the excess was £60 until the age of about 8 and then it was £60 plus 15% that is the reason i stayed with axa as they do not introduce a percentage which could work out expensive, i know you can change but if your cat develops an illness then you are kind of stuck with whichever insurance company you choose as no others would cover the condition so its best to get the right one first time round, im not saying that i have got the right one but i got so worried about all the different choices that i just went with what seemed best for me, also my axa quote said the excess was £75 but when the policy documents came its only £50, i rang petguard and as long as you put no to the 12 month cover only option you are covered for life although it took 2 phone calls to them to find that out as the first person i rang said that it only covered me up to £7500 per illness then it was not covered, which with a long term condition would run out at some point, so i should ring them and ask just to put your mind at rest before you decide,
