I clean my cats tray out with bleach every week or so. When I do the smell of it on me or my hands drives them nuts! Has anyone else noticed this?

I have a friend whose cat rolls around on the kitchen floor when they bleach it. I guess it doesnt do them any harm (when heavily diluted of course)
