Generally they avoid one another. Your cat should be ok its better they have a good outdoor life than be mollycodled. The only time there could be trouble is the fox breeding season when dog foxes can be aggressive. But a cat is well capable of looking after themselves and foxes are not one to give themselves a problem if they can aviod it
