We won't be renewing with a particular company (not sure I dare say which) but we had six weeks free and made a claim then continued with the full insurance after the six weeks was up, made another claim and they wouldn't pay because they said it was an existing condition - yeah, with them!
I'll be opting for Petplan next time they always pay out.
