Get some Thornit, it's brilliant stuff and works better than a lot of vet prescriptions for ear mites. Our puppy bichon had some of this black stuff in her ear yesterday so I've wiped it with a baby wipe and put some thornit in and it hasn't bothered her since.



I think I got mine from Champion pet supplies but there are loads of places that sell it - you can get it on ebay too.
