Hi... you will have read my other posts (or may not for that matter), but probably get the general gist that I have several cats... I have 5 permanent cats and the potential of 2 more kittens (one of my cats had a litter a few weeks ago, got homes for 3, but not the last 2).... so I am now thinking about how to avoid being the stinky cat house!!

At the moment I don't have litter trays as the cats go out (except for mum & scarf who is convalescing - they have one each in their cages)... but as I have 3 floors to my house, would it make sense to have one on each floor, do I need more than 3 for possibly 7 cats...?

Also, I have lots of strategically placed pillows & cushions that are used by the cats for sleeping on... I am wondering if I should replace these with little housey things - as the pillows are particularly grotty and not easy to wash... can you recommend any "easy to wash" cat beds/houses and perhaps how I can avoid the "smelly cat" scenario...

just general advice required really - oh and perhaps home for remaining kittens x
