If diagnosed with asthma, will his treatment be covered by pet insurance?

Also... I think we are going to go with Animal Friends insurance with the £49 excess (it says in small print... £49 excess + 35% of the claim - is this good or bad??), £20,000 lifetime condition limit... £9.25p/m.
