Hi all,

Myself and my partner have just moved into a new 1st floor flat which is in a block with 3 other flats.

My question is that our cat we have had for 6 months which was from the Cats Protection Centre was use to a normal house and a small garden but now we have moved into a flat not sure what is the best way to keep a cat in a flat LOL.

She use to be a bit of an outdoors cat at night and in the evenings at the old house and spent her time inside in the day but now we are in a 1st floor and share the stairs with 3 other people inc a dog i wanted to know should i just try and keep her inside all the time or let her out as normal out the back door which go;s into a small garden with bushes and tree;s in. We have kept her inside for over 10 days when we moved and at present she has just gone out for the first time as she started to try and climb up the front door. Fingers cross the cat and dog do not meet on the stairs if someone else lets her in.

I think i just worry about her to much and i call her every so often out the window near the garden LOL

Any tips or advice will be great.
