Think it would be an idea to take him to the vets for a check up and scan to see if chipped. If he isn't then you could get him vaccinated and wormed and some flea treatment. You could put up some notices in the area, at vets, and shops etc saying you found a kitten but don't give too detailed a description - make any enquirer describe the kitten they have lost!

i had some flea stuff in the house so i have done that, vets isnt open now till monday so i will take him then if he hasnt gone already. he is such a cutie and i will be heart broken if he has to go
i just dont want to kick him out coz the fireworks have started round here already
