Re: Kitten feeding problem

Hi there and welcome to the forum!!

Have you tried wet cat food?? She might not be used to dry cat food.
If you put the wet food in her bowl and dip her nose in it she will naturally lick it off to clean herself. She will then get a taste for the food.
You may have to do this a few times before she does it by herself.

You could also try tuna, boiled white fish, pilchards, cooked chicken etc? Make sure this is just the meat only with no additives (i prefer to cook it myself so i know whats in it)
Normally these foods should only be given as a treat tho - but if it helps her to start eating then I dont think its a problem to start her with it.

If you want to feed dry food eventually after a few weeks of eating wet food you need to introduce it gradually. Try 75% meat & 25% dry food for a few weeks. Then decrease the wet and increase the dry gradually over the weeks.
