Re: Puppy Buyers!

I'm sorry, but just because his dog accidently sired a litter, does not give him the soul rights to one of your puppies.
No stud contract no nothing in place - obviously his own dog was also off lead, so I am afraid it is just one of those things! Ownership is 9/10ths of the law, and you have those puppies and are ultimately responsible for them, and while I agree he should have an interest into as to where the pups are homed, I disagree that he is entitled to a puppy because after all said and done the mating was an accident, if this was the case we would have people all over the UK demanding puppies as their dogs had accidently sired litters!

I would question his ethics as an owner in wanting to bring his dogs around whilst the puppies are still at a VERY vunerable stage in their lives, also what does he intend doing with the said puppy? I would question his motives and reasoning behind why he wants a puppy if he already has more than one dog that he is breeding from.
