Re: Advice on Pregnant Puss!
Hi....welcome! I, too, am in the process of looking after looking after little ones in need. A neighbouring farmer had a barn cat killed on the road. Two days later, they discovered three kittens under their trailor home, in the insulation right under the floor. They had gone without food from Friday morning to Sunday afternoon. If I had not taken them, they would have been distroyed. One little one had insulation in its tiny mouth and must have inhaled some as it died on Wednesday. The other two, are doing fine and just got their eyes open a few days ago. They must have been just a few days old when they were orphaned. One of my himalayian queens is due today and she is not at all interested in her box. When she is ready, I am hoping she uses it as she did last year. They will usually not show interested in a box until they are about ready to deliver....at least I found that to be the case with mine.
