Best heaters

Today i got a ceramic heater, it was very confusing with all the different bulbs etc but i settled for a day glo fitting in small and a ceramic heater in 100 watts.

Just fitted it and within mins the thermometer had gone off the scale and the beardie had moved off his beloved rock so i have switched it off and he is now sat back on his heat rock.

obviously i have made an error somewhere but i really didnt know which one to get, a friend has given me a heat bulb that also gives off light, its a flatish bulb but i dont know the wattage, i also have another bulb that came with his old viv which is curly and looks like a normal enegy lightbulb.

Now im confused as to which one he should have???????
