Re: Help!

Hi

Good for you, for taking a step towards helping your dog and realising that it is up to you to sort this out and doing so. It is far easier to pass the problem onto someone else, especially with an elderly dog.

Don't let the opportunity with the behaviourist go, follow it through and life will become easier. You CAN teach an old dog new tricks, so to speak, it just takes a little longer!!!

There is a good book by Jan Fennel, called the Dog Listener, that will help you understand why your dog is behaving in the way that she does, find it in your library, it will help in the meantime and give you hope!!
