Thank you all so much. It is so very hard and hearbreaking. Our old cat died about 15 years ago which I dont remember much, so this is so hard.

He is still hobbling round, eating and loving cuddles. But yes, we shall talk to the veta about it. This is the first time iv had to have an active role in deciding when to put an animal to sleep and its awful. At least when he is gone, he will be pain free and all four of his little legs will be running around like a lively little boy!

We are lucky and our vet has said she will come to our home to pts, which is lovely of her. I just cannot imagine him being with us one minute and gone the next.
