Has your little one been outside much?
You could always take him to the vet for a check over. Has he been to a vet at all?
I have had many cats over the years and i think that the pads are soft for a while. Harley my youngest is one and a half and his pads are a lot softer than our two 15 year olds.
What colour is your babe? Has most have pink pads or dark pads.
