Re: Need stories of paralyzed pets for my new book

My cat, Ben, was hit by a car last year and his life was taken up to rainbow bridge. I have never met a nicer vet - because it was early hours in the morning, my vet went into emergency (which is what they usually do anyway) He started pricking ben's back with a needle and he didn't flinch or move a muscle, then he slowly cutted his paw pad, and there was still no movement. I believe he had got paralysed too. When my mum picked him up to put in the carrier (which I later found out, you should never move an animal with an injured back ) His back twisted. It was awful too see
