Yes, thats right. There are specialist shows you can enter as well, like one specifically for long or semi long hairs etc.

Showing is a lovely hobby. You will need to get all the white show equipment- blankets, litter tray, food and water bowls. They do packs on ebay, and they are not that expensive.

I show shorthairs so I have no idea how to prep a long hair, but I am sure either her breeder or other persian or chinny breeders on here will be able to help you with that.

The best thing is to visit a show first, and have a chat to the people there. Most people are really friendly and will help out someone showing for the first time.

Good luck, I am sure she is worth the wait and you will have loads of fun with her.
