We were on our local heath with Biscuit off her lead. We were obviously over confident that no dog stood a chance as she had always rather vocal about her disregard or any interest in any dogs! She snarled in her usual not interested way and we apologised to the other owner and explained that she was out of season and saying no! He said she was a lovely looking dog and had we thought of breeding her as he wanted his dog (A Jack Russell) to father another lot of puppies! (he had fathered three with their bitch). Whilst we were saying we had thought about it but not yet as she was a bit young and were not really sure what it all involved etc we realised it was too late - they had locked! Hindsight is a good thing and we realise that she should of been kept on her lead! Since that incident he has been in contact regarding 'his' puppy! We have been incredibly naive about it all and just went along with what he said and have since learnt much more. There that fills you in on the soap opera so far!!
