My cat is a 3 year old scottish fold. She has been diagnosed with dysplasia /osteoarthritis. I've searched the forums and the whole internet however I would be very appreciative if anyone can share their experiences.

Are there any recommendations in particular that has helped your cats with the same sort of problem?

Background-
The vet has been giving her steroid injections every 6 weeks however it has stopped as the vet is too scared she may become a diabetic.

I've been putting some liquid anti-inflammatory medication in her food, this has kept her steady but its also caused stomach problems so that has also stopped.

In the last couple of weeks shes has declined rapidly, shes licking her paws a lot, lost appetite, has trouble jumping, limping etc

I'd be so grateful to get some advice from other cat owners on this issue.

How have you treated your cats? Is there any medication or remedies that you recommend?
