Yes I realise that, but at least he had the sense to know the dog could not be trusted. I dont know how id react if I saw a child mauled by one of my dogs, I doubt any of us do. I agree he should of dealt with it in a more civil fashion though. I imagine however, he feels a lot worse not having his companyon with him today, realising it was at his hands when he saw its last breath.
