Hi,

My friend horse is about 120 cm height (from ground to the back of the horse), is there a maximum height of fences that he shouldn't exceed regarding his horse size? My friend's mare is obviously small in size.

I am asking this because I think that he is overloading his horse with fences like 1 meter height, sometimes she does it, but to complete a course like that it seems very hard for her, I think she hits or refuse to jump some fences due to this. He claims that since she did it before then she can do it, but I think she is overloaded and I feel pity for her, I told him that the suitable height for her is about 90cm which is the 6th level here in our courses.

So, is there any rule that can manage this so that I can convince him with facts?
