well he may be ok with a kitten but if he really dislikes cats and was hurt by a cat then is it really fare on him to bring in a kitten thats tricky as ive know dogs to dislike kittens that much they wont even let them in the room and i always say if your going to have dogs and cats together then get the cat first and a puppy secand as then they know no diffents good luck with that
