Yes I agree with the others, there is definatly something fishy going on there.

No way would your dear cat have been sent straight off to be cremated. Most vets only have a pick up every few days and in fact the vets I worked at, it was only once a week.

All vets should and usually do give you the choice of taking your beloved pet home for a burial or they can cremate for you.

This may sound a bit insensitive, but I don,t mean it to be but the cat is still your "possession" and not the vets.

I would definatly advise going to CAB but also to the Royal Veterinary College with a complaint.

At least you know that passing away under anaethestic he did not suffer in any way. But that does not make it any easier for you, my thoughts are with you.
thanks for your kind words just a question do cats get cremated at the same place as humans
