As others have said, definitely a big NO to letting his dogs meet the pups. Re him having a puppy, that would depend upon what your arrangement with him was. He is not automatically entitled to a puppy, unless it was agreed between the two of you. I know you said it was a chance meeting, but what happened afterwards? Did you have a chat and agree any terms? Did you pay him a stud fee? Did you agree to let him have a puppy in lieu of a stud fee? Did he say that he would have a puppy instead of a stud fee? It sounds as though he has had his pick of the litter - did you agree to that?
