Just wondered if anyone can help with this....
Our lovely Biscuit had pups over Easter. The 'father' was a chance meeting! But we exchanged numbers with his owner and he was in regular contact whilst she was pregnant as he said he was entitled to a puppy! Now whilst I know this is the case in pedigrees or arranged breeding I have felt forced to agree - our Biscuit is a mixed breed! He came and chose one of the six pups (a boy) two days after the birth. Now, he wants to introduce his puppy to his other dogs so they get used to it! I am not happy with this at all. He is saying his dogs (he has three - two boys and a girl) would be in his car and he would just let them sniff his puppy. I am concerned about any potential infections and also if this is OK. He has not paid anything towards the vet bills so far and just seems to be in it for a free dog in another 5-6 weeks? What does anyone think?
