Baloo...I hear what you're saying. This is why I AM researching and reading as much as I can. Also, asking for opinions/experiences from people who ARE feeding raw. I'm trying to be as informed as I can. Although, as I mentioned before, the site mentioned states that cats can have urinary problems due to too much PROSPEROUS in the diet.

What is that all about?

Anyhow, cats have all had venison today and loved it. Since I've been feeding mainly raw, my kitten who has had diarrhea every day for 5 weeks.....has firm poo! Woohoooo.....

I will continue reading etc.

and.....my OP was about basic rules. I was really looking for do's and don'ts as reading so much information can be very confusing.
