think it's the cheesy one, but Mrs CB is the expert on which cat prefers which type of treat - they all have a favourite, and also flavours they
won't eat.
Re the not chewing - I immediately thought teeth/gum problems but if they are ok not sure what to suggest. Maybe he just likes to gulp his food down as quickly as possible
Howie was a bit like that - he'd cram his food down asap then get back to the important stuff like sleeping on someone's lap.
