My 10 week old border collie has no problem being groomed. He wanted to eat the brush the first few times but he wants to eat everything new to him. I'm sure with perseverance he will get used to it. You could try mimicking the grooming process with your hands a few times before trying with a brush again and then slowly introducing the brush abit at a time once he has got used to you handling him in that way.
