Hi all, i am new to this and any forum! I have 3 cats (Maggie, Barney and Alfie) and have recently got two little fish called Phil and Gary...I will post some pics up as soon as i figure out how

I have a question about the filter in my fish tank....i have a Spongebob Squarepants tank and it has its own filter that came with the tank which i believe is all set up correctly.

The filter iteself makes quite a loud buzzing noise, which i did expect and am fine with. However, the filter itself also makes a dripping sound and i wondered if there is anyway of making the noise quieter as i understand it is a neccesity to have the filter dripping water back into the tank, otherwise it would be pointless

So does anyone have any ideas about whether it is normal for it to be so loud or shall i just put up with it?! lol

It doesn't really effect me as i have a fan on most nights in my room anyway but wondered if you might have any thoughts
