is neutering a hob the same as removing his scent glands around his butt? is it cruel? im rescuing two hobs from an unwanted home and im deciding whetherto have them neutered or vasectomised, theyre both 1 and a half years old and have lived together without fighting

which would be best to do? theyll be kept inside (due to it starting to get colder) and have their injections so i can take them for walks etc
